How can a field of knowledge, in this case music and art history, be catalyzed from a dynamically grown and complex overall picture to a concrete statement? This work of artistic-research can be understood as a three-part attempt to formulate systematics not only in words but also through design, thereby exploring and expanding the dialectics inherent in the printed medium (sequence, juxtaposition, pairing, layering, interpenetration, proportion, materiality, periphery).
