»Was wären wir ohne die Dinge!«

The publication »Was wären wir ohne die Dinge!« (»Where would we be without things/objects?«) for the anniversary of the object conservation faculty at ABK Stuttgart is in itself thought to be an interesting object of investigatiion for future generations: the more scientific part is printed on enduring and weatherproof polyethylene foil, while the dust jacket and the more subjective, ephemeral photo essay are made of quickly aging wrapping paper. In the layout, titles and images seem to hover — a literal, tongue-in-cheek attempt to reach into the world of objects.
